NauticEd Expands into Powerboat Training

Austin, TX — [ Oct 28, 2024] — NauticEd, a global leader in sailing education and certification, is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated range of Powerboat Courses, a significant expansion beyond its traditional focus on sailing. These new courses are designed to meet the growing demand for powerboat training and certification, providing comprehensive education for both beginners and experienced boaters.

The new NauticEd Skipper Powerboat Course delivers a robust theoretical learning experience, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate powerboats confidently and safely. The new Navigation Rules for Powerboats Course is FREE and gives a comprehensive understanding of give-way rules with video animations and clear explanations. This program is aligned with the stringent standards that NauticEd is known for, including adherence to U.S. Coast Guard guidelines and the American National Standards for boating safety.

Simultaneously, NauticEd also launched a comprehensive free powerboat training blog website to provide safe powerboat operating information to the public at large.

The course was jointly authored by Headifen and U.S. Coast Guard Ret. Upon successful completion of theory knowledge and practical on-the-water skills, students will earn internationally recognized certification, allowing them to charter powerboats through major companies like The Moorings. This certification is also integrated into NauticEd’s SLC (Sailing License and Certification) program, making it a versatile qualification for boating enthusiasts.
